Abstract
Bibliometrics offers valuable insights into orthopedic research by identifying publication trends, collaboration networks, knowledge gaps, and global disparities. While complementing evidence-based practice, its limitations include citation bias and overreliance on metrics, which must be recognized. Used responsibly, bibliometric analyses can support strategic research, education, editorial decisions, and equitable advancement of orthopedic scholarship.
