Multipleschwannomas are a rare circumstance which may occur with or without other manifestations of neurofibromatosis.In this study, we report the case of a 45-year-old man presenting with pain and swelling in the thigh and popliteal spacewithout any manifestation of neurofibromatosis or neurologic problems. Surgery was performed and revealed fourseparated tumors in the sciatic nerve which was characteristic of schwannoma and confirmed by pathologic findings.Although multiple schwannomas are frequently associated with neurofibromatosis, the current case demonstrateda patient with multiple schwannomas without any manifestation o f neurofibromatosis.Level of evidence: IV %U https://abjs.mums.ac.ir/article_17636_08a87b6e981a2658ee1f1e12691d70c0.pdf
